flavia
Hello Flavia! Physiology connected with the 5 elements is a fascinating part of this tradition. It is based on the idea that the elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) represent specific aspects of nature and the human body. These factors are linked to organs, emotions, and physical characteristics. For example, wood is related to liver and anger, fire is related to heart and joy, earth is related to spleen and reflexes, metal is related to lungs and sadness, water is related to kidney and fear. scared. These connections help to understand energy imbalances and guide treatment through practices such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and diet. This is a fascinating and complex area that can bring many perspectives into your TCM training. Good luck with your studies! :love :love
